LANGUAGE ACCESS
Cass County Courts are dedicated to ensuring access for Limited English Proficient (LEP), deaf, deaf-blind and hard of hearing individuals. The Cass County Courts provide language interpreters for individuals who have limited English proficiency and/or are unable to communicate due to hearing impairment.
Interpreters for court proceedings and related matters can be requested through the courts’ language access coordinator to facilitate this process.
To request a Foreign Language Interpreter, please complete the request portion of:
- Request and Order for Interpreter Form. (MC81).
The most often requested language interpreters are for the languages shown below. If you are requesting another language
- Arabic/English (MC81AR)
- Chinese/English (MC81CH)
- Korean/English MC81KO)
- Serbo-Croation/English (MC81SC)
- Spanish/English (MC81SP)
- Vietnamese/English (MC81VT)
IF YOUR REQUEST HAS BEEN DENIED
If you believe Cass County Courts have made a mistake in denying your request for a foreign language interpreter, you may request the Chief Judge review the decision. Please use:
